The Director of Cabinet of the Minister of Public Health, Mr. Ismagal Annar received, yesterday afternoon, at the Ministry of Public Health, important donations in kind and in cash, offered by several structures. The ceremony took place in the presence of representatives of the said structures and members of the crisis management committee linked to the COVID 19 pandemic.
This is a donation of 20 million CFA francs from Coris Banque International Niger (about which we will come back), one (1) other of one million CFA francs, various materials and the donation of the ‘AS-SONIDEP composed of various materials worth 1,350,000 FCFA.
All these donations support the Ministry of Public Health, in accordance with the wishes of the President of the Republic who called for national solidarity in the fight against the spread of the disease linked to COVID 19 in our country.
Ms. Rakiatou Idé Issaka Managing Director of Coris Banque International Niger, Ms. Axa N’Diaye Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Senegal in Niger, Ms. Aïda Thiam President of the Association of Women Nationals of Senegal in Niger, Ms. Maiga Hawaou Coordinator of the NGO Thiebon and the President of ASSONIDEP underlined that this gesture of their respective structures aims to support the actions of the health authorities in the context of their fight against COVID 19.
On receiving the donations, the Director of Cabinet of the Minister of Public Health greeted, on behalf of the Government, the generous donors for their promptness and for having shown their solidarity with the Government. « These

Mr. Ismagal Annar finally appealed to other structures to follow suit to support the fight against COVID 19.
All prayed that God would assist our country in the fight against this pandemic. As of April 1, 2020, Niger has recorded 77 cases including 4 deaths, said the Chief of Staff in his speech.
As a reminder, cash donations consist of two Teama brand respirators; an electric consultation table; two Stretcher trolley; a X-ray viewer and two brackets (offered by the NGO Thiebon) and 20 boxes of Savon Lavibel; 10 packs of masks and 20 bottles of gel (offered by AS-SONIDEP).
