CBI celebrates its 2 years in Niger with the opening of the first agency in Maradi

December 2, 2019-December 2, 2021, Coris Bank International Niger celebrates its two (2) years. The celebration of this second anniversary was an opportunity for the bank to inaugurate a branch in Maradi, which is the very first in the Region. By establishing itself in the interior of the country in only two years of existence in Niger, Coris Bank International (CBI) proves its dynamism, its efficiency and above all its proximity to customers.

The economic capital of Niger, Maradi, has just welcomed the very first agency in the Region of Coris Bank International. The agency located opposite the Dan Kassawa Technical High School, on the city’s main commercial artery, was officially inaugurated on Wednesday 1th December 2021 by the General Manager of the bank under the sponsorship of the Governor of the Maradi Region, Mr. Chaibou ABOUBACAR in the presence of the President of the Regional Council, representatives of the city council, the BCEAO, other administrative and customary authorities, nuns and several other guests.

The inauguration of the Maradi branch of Coris Bank International, the first in the region, coincides with thesecond anniversary of the bank’s establishment in Niger.

During the inauguration of the Maradi branch, Mrs. Rakiatou ISSAKA IDE, Director of the bank expressed her deep gratitude on behalf of the President of the Coris Group, Mr. Idrissa NASSA, to his Excellency, the Minister of Finance, for the commendable efforts he undertakes on a daily basis to support banks in economic growth. She also expressed her thanks to the regional authorities for their support in the steps relating to this project, which has now been completed.
